T&T’s wedding was a week long party. The fun thing about Desitnation Weddings is getting to know the bridal party and building that relationship prior to shooting the big day. This is one fun-loving, wonderful bunch!
I was fortunate to have two whole days of shooting with Tegan & Tyson, so today’s post focuses exclusively on their wedding day.
The day started bright and early and the girls’ room was full of energy and anticipation.
The guys were pretty laid back, having a few cervesa’s when I arrived.
Then it was time to visit the lobby bar as the boys waited for the girls to finish up.
After many shower warnings, the sky opened up and blessed Tegan & Tyson with a gorgeous day.
The ceremony was beautiful and full of emotion.
The reception was a tonne of fun – it started with Mariachi’s (note Tyson’s dad joining in!) and soon turned into an all-out dance party!
The above continued into the wee hours of the morning – this group knows how to giv’er!
It’s very exciting to be able to share these images with you. Having been friends with Rob and Lisa for years (our friend Jill and I MC’d their wedding), it’s been an absolute joy to watch their family grow and see good things come their way. In February, they announced the latest addition to their lovely clan – Baby Amy Elizabeth Erin.
Here she is at 9 days old.
This family is so peaceful and calm, it’s no surprise baby Amy is the same way.
Big brother Alex is very fond of his little sister, he’ll protect her all their lives.
Lexi isn’t entirely sure what to think just yet…
Amy is already pondering life’s big mysteries…

The boys are enchanted with the little girl in their life – The look in Alex’s eyes say it all.
Thank you to Lisa, Rob, Alex, Amy and Lexi for having us over for the afternoon. Being around you and simply feeling the love present in your home is such a gift. We are so incredibly happy for you, and can’t wait to see what’s in store for you as a family.
