Danaye & Matt – Engaged!!!

Danaye and Matt had been together nearly 8 years when Matt popped the question this summer in Loon Lake, SK surrounded by family and friends. It was a joyous event, full of laughs and happy tears.

A month later Danaye invited me down to Calgary to capture their love in a series of engagement photos. I was honoured to be able to take pics of these two! After all, Danaye has been one of my dearest friends for years, and Matt is one of the sweetest guys on the planet!

First we had to grab some family shots, with Kip (small grey) and Juba (Mr. stripey) who were all dolled up in their furry Sunday’s best.

I had to include the following series of 4 photos simply because they showcase the personalities of Danaye and Matt so well! These two are a blast – some of the funniest people I know, super genuine and never afraid to be goofy!

Congratulations, Danaye & Matt! Your wedding day next July is sure to be the party of the year; I am so touched to be able to share in it with you and the entire wedding party!

Looking extra forward to bridesmaid dress shopping this weekend :)

Christie & Greg – Engaged!

These two are so sweet – and SO well suited to each other, their love is infectious! For their engagement session we headed back to where it all began: Their first date!

Tegan and Tyson are awesome. They were up for pretty much anything for their engagement shoot, and offered all sorts of fun ideas!
